Beer: It's your huckleberry! Another of Val's Idaho finds, Coeur d'Alene Brewing Co.'s Huckleberry Ale is sure to attract bears, if not Hipsters.

Chocolate?: From the Divine Chocolate holiday goodie bag, we try White Chocolate with Strawberries. It's Fair Trade Certified, but...well, it's white chocolate. 'Nuff said.

Finds:

• 'Ella good. A grad student fashioned a lightweight umbrella frame called the Eco-Brolly. You can use any old newspaper or plastic bag as a cover. Or fill it with Rihanna CDs.
• The Fonz approves. The new COOL law kicks in this week, so you'll see more "Country-Of-Origin-Labels" in the supermarket. Exceptions to the rule: just about everything you buy. Not cool.

• Action hero. Gov. Ah-nold Schwarznegger is hosting a climate-change summit, bypassing the feds and beating the UN to the punch by a month.
• Choc suey. Cadbury recalled its Chinese-made chocolate products after finding they contained melamine.

Egg-scuse me? Listener Shayna shared a half-dozen uses for empty egg cartons. Some ideas: use them to ship breakables, to sort change at your yard sale or to start seedlings. If they're clean, try giving them to egg vendors at your local farmers' market!

• Beewitching. Corey and Lynn love to use beeswax candles for holiday decor. These honeypot jack-o-lanterns are a scream!
