- New developments in solar panels. Researchers at the New Jersey Institute of Technology have developed an inexpensive solar cell that can be printed on plastic
sheets.
- Biofuel from car fumes. Three fishing buddies from North Wales have developed a box that can be fixed underneath
a car in place of the exhaust to trap the greenhouse gasses emitted from the vehicle. The
captured gasses can then be processed to create a biofuel using genetically modified algae.
