Teenie Weenie Greenieā„¢

This week's Teenie Weenie Greenieā„¢ is to follow these tips to extend the life of your rechargeable batteries and devices.

  1. Avoid extremes. Rechargeable devices work best at normal room temperature.
  2. Don't overcharge. Set a timer when charging your batteries so they don't overcharge.
  3. Discharge before storing. Before storing rechargeable batteries for an extended period of time, make sure to fully drain them.
  4. Store in cool conditions. Temperatures below 80 degrees Fahrenheit are best.
  5. Cool down. Allow batteries to cool for 30 minutes before recharging.
