Listener Emails

Once again, we have a bunch of great listener emails. Keep 'em rolling in at hip@greenfeet.com. And don't forget to post articles, links, and speak your mind at our MHTH forum!

  • Kids up for the challenge. Diana wanted to pass along a link to the Weather Channel's Going Green Challenge. The contest invites kids to submit their original ideas for making the world a greener place. The prize? $10,000 and a day with an expert from the film The 11th Hour.
  • What's in your Bud? According to an analysis by Greenpeace, Anheuser-Busch has been using a genetically modified strain of rice in its brewing process.
  • Breastfeeding- better for you than we thought. Recently, Kathy was listening to MHTH 69 - Breast Cancer Awareness. She sent along a link to an article about how breastfeeding might help lower your risk for breast cancer. She also sent along a link about the Freegan movement.
  • Shout out! Thanks to Catherine in Colorado who added More Hip Than Hippie to the recommendations page on her website VeryHealthyLife.com.
